York, PA (June 2013) – Brent C. Diefenderfer, an associate with CGA Law Firm, recently graduated Leadership York’s Leadership Training Program (LTP) in a ceremony held on May 22 at The York Jewish Community Center. This year’s class represented a wide variety of businesses, nonprofit organizations, and institutions from throughout York County.
Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification, attorney Diefenderfer represents individuals and businesses in debt restructuring and bankruptcy and advises his clients on strategies that are appropriate to their unique situation. These strategies may include bankruptcy under Chapters 7, 11 and 13, creditor negotiation, mortgage loan modification or real estate short sale. Brent also provides legal counsel on estate planning, asset protection, residential real estate transactions and civil litigation. He advises businesses on entity formation, commercial leases, purchase agreements and asset acquisitions.
LTP is a nine-month, experiential course that educates participants about York County history and community issues. Participants discover their style and learn to work effectively with others by fine-tuning their leadership skills, enhancing their knowledge, and receiving guidance in choosing and applying for a board, elected, or appointed position. LTP provides access to additional opportunities for partnerships and new business relationships.
