Event Description:
A wide range of legal and zoning tools are available to municipal officials seeking to preserve and maintain a strong and vibrant agricultural community. Attendees will learn about the basic techniques available for ag zoning and farmland preservation including transferable development rights and ASAs. Attorney Timothy Bupp along with Pam Shellenberger, Chief, County/Long Range Planning, York County Planning Commission, will discuss the latest developments on the ACRE Act and what you need to know, as well as zoning techniques currently used by York County municipalies.
