York, PA (January 2010) – CGA Law Firm is pleased to announce attorney Michélle Pokrifka has become a shareholder with the firm. “Michelle is an extremely talented and dedicated attorney. We are fortunate that she has chosen to practice among us at CGA,” said Sharon E. Myers, firm President.
Michélle’s legal practice primarily focuses on family and domestic matters including divorce, equitable distribution, child custody, support, and adoption. All of which are life changing events that can be emotionally complex. With over sixteen years of experience as a family law attorney, Michélle understands both the emotional and legal aspects surrounding family matters. She believes in providing her clients with all viable options legally available to them so that they can decide which course of action is best for them.
In her legal practice she also represents municipalities on a myriad of issues, including zoning, land use and development, and financing. She currently serves as solicitor to Glen Rock Borough in Southern York County.
Michélle received her J.D. in 1992 from the Widener University School of Law.
In the local community, she serves on a number of boards and committees. As a leader in the community, she contributes her time and legal expertise to serve organizations such as the YWCA, , York Hospital IRB, and Memorial Hospital IRB.
