In 1997 the Pennsylvania legislature passed the Pennsylvania Charter School Law, and charter schools were established. Forty-six states have a charter school law, and charter schools have become a major factor in public education. This article will answer some basic questions about charters. Fennick is a volunteer woodworking instructor to hearing impaired students at the Escuela de Educación Especial de San Miguel de Allende (San Miguel School for Special Education) in San Miguel de Allende, in Guanajuato, Mexico. The San Miguel School for Special Education is a non-profit school funded primarily from grants, donations, and fundraising. In Guanajuato, the government does not support schools for the deaf, and public schools lack the ability and instruction to properly teach deaf students. CGA Attorneys Recognized at YCBA Annual Dinner

The York County (PA) Bar Association/York County Bar Foundation held its Annual Dinner this past week. Judge John Uhler was installed as President of the Bar Foundation. Attorney Liliana Fisher received one of the Annual Pro Bono Awards given for exceptional Pro Bono Service in 2020, and Attorney Larry Young presented her with the award.
