Overview

Tina Fox – (Of Counsel) is a member of CGA Law Firm’s Litigation group. As a litigator, her experience in all types of dispute resolution is a tremendous asset when assisting her clients. Tina is as happy to resolve a matter without a trial as she is to litigate assertively when needed. When meeting with her clients, she determines their goals and then counsels them on the best approach for achieving success.

Tina is also experienced in estate planning and administration and elder law. Her practice in the Orphan’s Court division has enabled her to assist clients to resolve estate disputes, trust litigation, and breaches of fiduciary duties.

Tina works with other CGA attorneys to help clients on matters of civil and estate litigation. She is at ease in courts, agencies and informal settings. Tina is well grounded in evidence and procedure and has become experienced in trial tactics and the presentation of evidence. Her clients are pleased with her skill, determination, and ingenuity.

Tina Fox Is Skilled In:

  • Business disputes
  • Breach of contracts
  • Estate litigation
  • Estate planning and administration
  • Elder law

Tina recognizes that contemporary disputes often demand innovative strategies and legal measures. Because much of her experience involves business disputes, she knows that a loss in the court of public opinion may cost a client far more than a win in the courtroom. Tina’s sophisticated litigation strategy often requires coordinated input from other practice groups coupled with consideration of public relations. Her litigation effort may be combined with activities in non-courtroom forums, such as in a legislative, regulatory, political or public setting. Tina is experienced in arbitrating cases before private parties and administrative bodies.

Representative Matters

  • Litigated a case before the Orphan’s Court regarding assets of a testamentary trust involving a dispute over property ownership. The client was awarded full rights to the disputed property valued at more than $10 million
  • Favorably resolved an estate litigation matter for a client by obtaining payment of $86,000 from the opposing party without the need for a costly trial by strategically placing a lien on real estate property which had been unlawfully transferred to a decedent’s family members

In her own words, Tina’s driving principle in all she does is the desire to “help people.” She generously donates her time and expertise to a number of civic organizations in York County that are focused on improving the quality of life in the community. At the core, she values service to others.
