CGA Law Firm is pleased to welcome Ethan J. Kincaid as one of our newest associate attorneys. Ethan joins the firm’s Litigation, Estate Planning, and Education Law practice groups. “It truly is a privilege to be able to practice law,” said Ethan, “and I cannot wait to use my skills to help those in the local community.”
Ethan earned his Juris Doctor from Penn State Dickinson Law, graduating cum laude and obtaining a Civil Litigation Certificate. He began his academic career at Gettysburg College, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and International Affairs, also graduating cum laude.
Through his legal education, Ethan was widely recognized for his dedication, commitment to service, and academic excellence. During his time at Dickinson Law, he received the following honors:
– Dickinson Law Vision and Leadership Award: Recognizing students who advance the vision of the Dean, engage current and prospective students in the life and culture of Penn State Dickinson Law, foster a sense of community and support, and contribute to the learning and growth of students in and out of the classroom.
– Joseph Leyburn Kramer Award: Given to a third-year student who has demonstrated academic excellence, strict ethical standards, fidelity and loyalty to other students and the profession, and involvement in extracurricular activities.
– Public Interest Advocate Recognition: Awarded to students who completed at least 60 hours of unpaid legal work to support individuals who lack full access to justice.
– Class Bridge Award: Awarded to a graduating student who goes above and beyond to unite students across each grade, fostering connection and a strong sense of community within the school.
– Joseph T. McDonald Scholarship: Awarded to a graduating student who has demonstrated dedication and skill in trial advocacy.
An avid writer, Ethan has been published in the Pennsylvania Bar News and the Federal Lawyer Magazine. He also spent a semester studying humanitarian law in Copenhagen, Denmark. Outside the office, Ethan enjoys spending time with his two spaniel-mix dogs, Lewis and Timmy, who are “beyond spoiled.”
