Please join us in the parking lot outside of the CGA Law Firm building (135 N George St) at 4:30pm to douse Larry, Jeff, Craig, and Frank with water buckets and water guns. Your options to soak the volunteers vary depending on donation amount, which you will be able to make either in-person or online. (Visit CGA’s fundraising page to donate.)

Although this is CGA’s first Leadership Soak, it is actually the 5^th Annual ALS. The Soaks are part of a national effort to raise funds and awareness for The ALS Association. The funds that we raise will benefit the ALS Association Western Pennsylvania Chapter.

CGA Law Firm has chosen a local Soak in order to promote awareness and compassion for those with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. ALS is always fatal, typically within 2-5 years from diagnosis. There is no cure and only four drugs approved by the FDA modestly extend survival and slow the progression of symptoms. Research is desperately needed and the cause is near and dear to our hearts because we lost Larry’s much beloved wife, Tina, to ALS.

If we meet our fundraising goal of $1,250, Larry has generously offered to match the money collected.
