Get Published at The Parliament

January 11, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Jan 11, Feb 8, March 8, April 12.
All workshops run from 6-8PM.
Course Content/Description:
This workshop will show you EXACTLY what you need to turn a piece of creative writing into a published book that can be sold online.
Students bringing their own laptops would be extremely helpful, but not mandatory. Students may also bring files on flash drives. Word Documents, PDFs, and jpeg documents can be used.
Students should bring materials for taking notes — pen and paper or phone.
Google Docs app would be very helpful to writers who have not finished their stories or who are looking for feedback after the workshop (for an additional fee). Phyl can help students set up the app as needed.
Phyl Campbell has helped students as young as 6 create books and get them published online to make available for online sales. To date, she has helped more than 50 people become published authors, and she is willing and ready to help you, too, no matter where you are in the process. From barely an idea to polished manuscript, let Phyl help you finish your story so you may share it with the world! What are you waiting for?
Cost: Suggested $20 per person. Class will be canceled if at least 3 students do not sign up in advance. Sign up HERE.
If finances are an issue, sign up anyway. Email [email protected] to discuss scholarship to attend the workshop. The Parliament and Phyl will work to take care of it.
Attorney Devon Myers Kolomick is a Board Member of The Parliament Arts Organization.
