York County History Center Bus Tour

Location: Pick-up/Drop-off at West Manchester Town Center parking lot

Time: 8:30am-4:30pm

Local author Scott Mingus will be our guide on this bus tour of the Underground Railroad in York County from Shrewsbury through the city of York to Wrightsville.  Various stops will be made at points of interest along the way.  Scott Mingus is an Ohio native residing in York, PA and has written 18 Civil War books. A scientist and executive in the paper industry, he holds patents in self-adhesive postage stamps and bar code labels.

This day trip will take place on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.  Cost is $60 per person.  There will be a stop at Cracker Barrel for lunch on your own.  Lunch is not included in your ticket price.  Bus will depart from and return to the West Manchester Town Center parking lot. Only 35 seats available, so you will want to reserve as soon as possible.  Deadline to purchase tickets is October 22, 2021.  You may print the Underground Railroad form here – and return it to Bonnie Rothert, 925 Somerset Lane, York, PA  17403.  Please make check payable to the Friends of the York County History Center.
