Derek T. Maninfior

Overview

Attorney Derek T. Maninfior is a Litigation Attorney representing clients in civil and criminal cases throughout central Pennsylvania. He has experience in all aspects of litigation including trial and appellate advocacy. He is a member of the York County Bar Association and the Lebanon County Bar Association.

Derek earned his law degree from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University in 2021where he was awarded the Certificate in Trial Advocacy. He also has a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Music from Eastern Illinois University and Indiana University, Bloomington Indiana, respectively. When not practicing law, Derek is usually practicing the piano or leading musicians on Sunday mornings at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania where he serves as Director of Music.

Throughout law school, Derek interned as a judicial assistant to the Hon. Thomas P. Rogers in the Montgomery Court of Common Pleas. He also interned in the Solicitor’s Office in the United States Department of Labor. During his last year in law school, Derek interned in the City Solicitor’s Office for the City of Philadelphia. Here, he gained valuable knowledge and experience which has benefited him in his municipal law practice.

Derek believes that a people-first approach to the practice of law is the key to success, and he advocates for his clients as though he were advocating for a family member or friend. He has earned a reputation for providing sound, strategic advice and is focused on achieving results for his clients.

Derek also takes pride in being an active member in the communities in which he works and lives. He believes in the importance of providing pro bono legal services to the community and devotes a significant number of hours to that cause each year. He also has recently served on boards for the Lebanon County Chamber Foundation and the Lebanon County Community Concerts Association.

Outside of practicing law, Derek enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two young daughters.
