Devon Myers Kolomick

Overview
Devon Myers Kolomick protects the financial interests of healthcare providers by resolving managed care disputes and securing the compensation they have earned. From contract strategy to litigation, she handles every stage so her clients can keep their focus where it belongs: on their patients.
As Chair of the firm’s Municipal Practice Group, Devon brings that same level of client advocacy to local governments, public agencies, businesses, and individuals. Whether navigating the complexities of municipal law, real estate, or estate planning and administration, she provides the clear guidance necessary to protect the interests of those who live and serve in our communities.
Healthcare Providers & Managed Care Disputes
Devon manages every phase of a managed care dispute, from initial assessment through resolution. She has extensive experience resolving matters through negotiation, mediation, and litigation, representing clients in arbitrations nationwide before the AAA, AHLA, and JAMS on matters involving denial of benefits and reimbursement disputes with payors. Her work covers both in-network and out-of-network claims, and she proactively advises clients on contracting strategy to address vulnerabilities before a dispute develops.
Municipal Law
For public agencies and municipalities, Devon drafts the essential ordinances, resolutions, and contracts that communities depend on. She also represents applicants seeking zoning relief, including variances, special exceptions, and curative amendments.
Estate Planning & Administration
For individuals and families, Devon simplifies the complexities of estate planning and administration. She helps clients put the right documents in place and guides families through the legal process following the loss of a loved one.
Devon earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Widener University School of Law, where she was a member of the Widener Law Review. She received her B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh. Before joining CGA, Devon served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Penny L. Blackwell in the York County Court of Common Pleas, where she handled matters in the Orphans’ Court, including adoptions, incapacitation hearings, and estates and trusts. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
She is an active member of the York County Bar Association, where she participates in the Young Lawyers Division and previously co-chaired the Law Day Committee. Devon serves her community through Women Living United, an initiative of the United Way of York County, and has previously served on the Boards of Crispus Attucks, The Arc of York County, and the Parliament Arts Organization.
Outside of the office, Devon spends her time on hiking trails, biking, and traveling with her husband and family.
