Overview
A lifelong resident of Central Pennsylvania, Lisa Long helps individuals, families, and businesses protect what they have built and plan for what comes next.
For business clients, she handles LLC and corporate formation, operating agreements, sales, acquisitions, and succession planning. For individuals and families, Lisa handles estate planning and administration, probate, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, elder law and long-term care planning, special needs trusts, guardianship, prenuptial and cohabitation agreements, and education law. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Lisa earned her law degree from Widener Law Commonwealth and her undergraduate degrees in Political Science and English Literature from Gettysburg College. Early in her career, she served as a staff attorney in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, working on environmental, energy, and health policy.
She is a member of the Dauphin County, Cumberland County, and York County Bar Associations, and participates in the Dauphin County pro bono Guardian Monitor Program, visiting with guardians and the individuals in their care to provide an independent check on their wellbeing. She also serves on the Advisory Board of Midwest Food Bank of Pennsylvania.
Outside the office, Lisa is an avid pickleball player, an accomplished natural horseman, and a lover of all dogs. She is an active member of Life Center Church and a devoted advocate for children with special needs.
