Overview
Lisa Long is a life-long resident of Central Pennsylvania who focuses her practice in the areas of Trusts and Estates, Elder Law, Business Law, and Special Education Law. She provides legal services to clients in sensitive matters involving estate planning and administration, asset protection, long-term care planning, and special needs trusts. Her business practice is focused on entity formation and transactions including sales, acquisitions, succession planning and related real estate matters. Lisa earned her law degree from Widener Law Commonwealth and attended Gettysburg College as an undergraduate, studying Political Science and English Literature. She is admitted to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
After she passed the bar exam, Lisa worked as a staff attorney in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, focusing on environmental, energy, and health issues. She is currently a member of the Dauphin County Bar Association, the Cumberland County Bar Association, and the York County Bar Association. Lisa is motivated to help people solve life’s challenges by implementing strategic and creative solutions.
Outside of her profession, Lisa is an avid pickleball player, accomplished natural horseman, zealous advocate for children with special needs, and lover of all dogs. She is an active member of Life Center Church, and past board member of the ARC of Pennsylvania and the Alumni Executive Board of Gettysburg College.
