Jeffrey L. Rehmeyer II

President | Business Law Co-Chair | Shareholder | Attorney

Overview

Jeffrey Rehmeyer II is the president of CGA Law Firm. Previously, he chaired the Business and Corporate Law group. He assists both large and small companies with the establishment and operations of their businesses. He forms powerful alliances with his clients by developing a deep understanding of their business goals, driving principles and competitive markets. Often this strategic partnership is forged at the inception of the business. He helps his clients determine the proper organizational structure and advises them on implementing practices and operating policies to protect their investments and to grow their businesses.

Jeff provides counsel in the following areas:

  • Entity formation
  • Corporate governance and shareholder agreements
  • Contracts, agreements for purchase and sale of goods and services, leases and other business documentation
  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Corporate finance and loan negotiation
  • Real estate matters
  • Intellectual property, including copyrights, trademarks, service marks, and licenses
  • Stock sales and transfers

For clients with no in-house legal counsel, Jeff’s broad expertise coupled with CGA’s comprehensive resources allows him to act as de facto general counsel for their organization. Clients with in-house counsel are able to draw on his specialized expertise as needed for projects and specific issues. Because he develops such a strong understanding of his clients’ businesses, Jeff is often able to prevent legal problems before they arise, escalate or threaten the security and profitability of their businesses.

Additionally, Jeff is adept in dealing with municipal, local and state governmental and regulatory entities. He uses his knowledge of these organizations to his clients’ advantage.
