January 16, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
MLK Day Celebration
Mon. Jan. 16, 6:30 – 8 p.m. in the Auditorium of Union Lutheran Church
In partnership with the York Cultural Alliance, Weary Arts Group, the Movement, the York NAACP, the Black Swan Ballet Company, and other community leaders, join us for an evening to celebrate and reflect upon the vision and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. While we reflect on his legacy, we will hear and experience legacies and creators being created now.
Join us as we not only take a look back, but how we look forward in the ever important work of justice and equity today. We will be joined by Musicians, Dancers, Historians, Community Leaders, and more.
Snacks and drinks will be provided. This event is free, family friendly, and open to the public. A small parking lot is available behind the church and street parking is free. Enter through the doors off the parking lot or our Penn St. entrance.
This event is a part of the Cultural Alliances Annual Campaign Kickoff, presented by Wellspan Health.
CGA Law Firm is a Sponsor of the Cultural Alliance.
