CGA Law Firm President and Shareholder Craig Sharnetzka has been recognized on the Central Penn Business Journal’s 2024 Power 100 List. This list recognizes leaders from various fields, such as law, finance, education, government, healthcare, business, and nonprofits. The Central Penn Business Journal’s editorial team and leadership curate this list based on the impact these individuals have on our communities and the quality of life in Central Pennsylvania.

Sharnetzka has been with the Firm for nearly twenty-five years. Entering his second year as President, Sharnetzka is focused on balancing growth with a range of diverse management responsibilities. In this role, he collaborates with the Firm’s executive committee, practice group leaders, and shareholders to manage ongoing operations, talent-recruitment, and strategic expansion objectives. Sharnetzka focuses his practice in the areas of municipal, business, real estate, estate planning, and bankruptcy. Sharnetzka serves his community through various efforts, including holding the position of President of the Board of Directors for Help for Oncology Problems and Emotional Support (H.O.P.E.), which provides assistance and support to cancer patients and their families.

Craig Sharnetzka focuses his practice in the areas of municipal law, real estate, bankruptcy and estate planning and administration. He is the current President of CGA Law Firm and previously chaired the Firm’s Municipal Law Practice Group.
Through his municipal law practice, Craig represents a number of municipalities in the capacity of a solicitor. He routinely drafts ordinances, resolutions, contracts and advises council members and elected and appointed officials and employees in matters such as open meeting laws, planning, zoning, and other land use issues, economic development, personnel, capacity, and other matters.
