All about growing, making and drinking wine at this beautiful Glen Rock farm! Driving up George’s Court to Jeff Brown’s and Joy Keller-Brown’s preserved farm you see vineyards and newly planted trees – lots of them!  Upon arrival you will be offered tastings of George’s Court wines while viticulturist Nancy Beard gives a short presentation about growing wine grapes.  Vintner Mickey Krauss will also give a talk on making wine.  Nancy has been the vineyard manager at George’s Court for over 40 years.  Mickey is American Wine Society’s number one amateur winemaker in North America. You’ll then walk through The Glade, then into the Enchanted Forest with its fairy rings and The King George tree.  Continue through The Vineyard, around The Point, lollygag along Meditation Ridge, and finally back to the Rock-Rimmed pond.  You are in for a rare treat as this preserved farm is not open to the public!

About FNLT’s Preservation Steps: Touring YoCo’s Hidden Landscapes: These are casual hikes on FNLT preserved properties featuring landowner stories, some education from local experts and information on the importance of preservation by FNLT.  Attendees will be provided snacks, water and some selections from our friends at Brewery Products as well.

Attorney Tim Bupp is the Solicitor for the FNLT and CGA is a sponsor.
