The Fall 2019 YRK Magazine featured an article about Caputo Brother’s Creamery owners, Rynn and David Caputo, and Attorney Mieke Driscoll. Caputo Brothers Creamery is the only cheesemaker in the United States that creates the fermented curds that can be stretched to make fresh and authentic mozzarella cheese. Creating cultured cheese curds requires finding the ideal balance in acidity between the culture and milk. (unlike the rubbery, factory-produced mozzarella facsimile found at the supermarket). Attorney Charles Calkins Conferred Prestigious Booth Award

Attorney Charlie Calkins received the William and Catherine Booth Award from the Salvation Army after 22 years of joyful service. The William Booth Award is one of the highest awards that may be conferred upon an individual by The Salvation Army. Nominees for the award are chosen on the basis of dedication to The Salvation Army’s goals of service to man and outstanding humanitarian effort within the community. Protect Yourself from Violating the Sunshine Act
