CGA Law Firm is pleased to announce that Attorney Hunter B. Schenck has been unanimously elected as a Shareholder. With ten years of experience in litigation and real estate, Hunter has become an invaluable asset to CGA’s clients. For the past few years, she has been a member of CGA’s Technology Committee which works on exploring new ways to help attorneys and staff to better serve our clients. “Hunter has worked very hard in building her practice and continues to do so. This is certainly a well-deserved honor,” CGA President Craig S. Sharnetzka said.

Schenck provides legal services to individuals and businesses in litigation and real estate, focusing on landlord/tenant work and collections. This ranges from representing her clients in court to drafting and reviewing leases and other contracts. She believes it is important to ensure that clients understand the litigation process, whether they are a business or an individual. Her landlord-tenant work ranges from handling evictions and appeals to drafting leases.

In 2023, Schenck was selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers’ “Rising Star” list for her third consecutive year. She shares the firm’s commitment to being a force for good in the community, as demonstrated through her various volunteer activities from professional associations to community involvement. She is a Board Member of the York County Bar Association and has been a longstanding member of various committees, including the Membership and Continuing Legal Education Committees. Hunter also volunteers with the Pennsylvania Bar Association as a member of the Legal Ethics & Professional Responsibility Committee and Technology Committee, and as the Zone 3 Co-Chair for the Young Lawyers Division.

Schenck ‘s passion for community service is reflected in her involvement in various organizations, including the Colonel James Smith-Yorktown Chapter of the NSDAR, the Penn State York Women’s Philanthropic Network, and The Grotto.
